Start with the job the payment has to do
Stablecoin acceptance can mean one of several different workflows: a customer pays an invoice, a marketplace receives funds before allocating revenue, a platform pays a contractor, or a treasury converts a volatile asset into a dollar-denominated balance. These workflows are not interchangeable. The merchant should document who sends funds, what the business receives, whether conversion occurs, and who can pause or reverse the operational process.
